I was yearning to get out to some remote location to do some shooting, however time was not on my side. I had a busy couple weeks, with my camera packed away -- Frankly, separation anxiety was beginning to set in, as I feel so much more at ease with a camera in-hand. Then one night, as I was at home, saddened that I had missed yet another photographic opportunity, I glanced outside to a dreamy vision. I sat there for 15 seconds, my jaw fully agape, then snapped to reality. I sprinted to locate my camera bag, furiously unloaded the desired camera body, lens, and tripod, and captured this shot above the Wasatch Mountains. Sometimes Mother Nature surprises you when you least expect it, and even in your own backyard.
