I went on an evening excursion with my family through the Wasatch Back near Salt Lake City. We meandered from forest to forest, until coming across an overlook near Deer Valley, a few minutes before sunset. From there, we walked through the shrubs and trees, and I saw this grouping of leaves, jutting out towards the sun. The wind was howling and a chill filled the air. I setup the shot for a fast shutter speed, to capture the leaves as if they were still.
