Autumn Run

"Autumn Run." Treks are always more fun with friends, and on this occasion it was no different. I made an overnight trip to Zion with friend, Steve Howa. We timed our arrival in hopes of our visit coinciding with autumn color, while the Virgin River was running a little high. We were not at all disappointed. As we hiked up the Narrows, we came upon this bend. I instantly fell in love with the view, setup the tripod mid-stream, and captured the scene.
