I enjoyed an evening walking solitary on an unnamed beach in southern Oregon. I had just witnessed an incredible light show at another vantage point. And now since sunset had passed about 45 minutes previously, I decided to walk around to soak in the remaining light of the evening. As I reached a particular spot I saw waves flowing evenly along the flat sand, creating patterns and symmetrical lines. I had to take another shot! I setup for a long exposure, permitting a wide range of pastel color to surface. The essence of the moment... peace, harmony, and solace.
