Launch

"Launch." I was perched with a few others along the river's edge. Salmon actively swam up the stream. On occasion a bear would walk by at what seemed to be only an arm's length away. Adrenaline ran as you listened to their breathing and splashing. Several hours into the experience, I watched one bear that was quite active. All at once the bear launched into the air falling onto its prey in the water and scooping it up with its long, sharp claws! What an inspiration to watch nature up close and personal.
