Hidden Alcove

This out-of-the-way arch is a gem in the Desert Southwest, home of world-class national and state parks. As the sun receded for the day, I wandered the area with fellow friend and photographer, Dustin LeFevre. The terrain was rugged and the steep cliff edges are not for the light-headed. As the sun cast its last rays of the day, We found ourselves perched in this hidden alcove, looking out over the vast desert, and captured this beautiful scene.
