Opportunity

"Opportunity." A breaking storm was in the area as I was driving along one of Alaska's interior highways. I wanted to capture a majestic scene of the mountains in the area, but there were endless lines of tress along both sides of the road, essentially preventing any opportunity for a viewpoint. Then in the corner of my peripheral vision, I saw an opportunity. I slowed down, pulled over, executed a quick U-turn, and drove back to the clearing. As I stepped out of the vehicle, I saw this scene. Not bad at all! Just an average day in beautiful Alaska.
