Smoky Stream

For the first time I visited Great Smoky Mountains National Park this fall. I was excited to capture grand views from the myriad of overlooks in the area; however the weather had a different plan, as through the week the area was socked in with fog and overcast skies. As a result, I sought out new perspectives that were more intimate, such as this one. I captured this autumn scene along the Oconaluftee River as it drains down the North Carolina side of the Smokies.
