Glimpse

I made a transition from Canon to Nikon in the fall of 2012. As such, this shot was captured during my first "real" photo expedition with the new gear. I experimented with the settings.... white balance, shutter speed, you get the drill. I shot this scene right as the last glimpse of light cast its glow on the sandstone, making the scene super vibrant and saturated! To date, this is one of my favorite takes of the area.
