Meadow Highlights

My wife and I awoke early in the morning to catch a specific scene high in the Wasatch Mountains. Alarm was set for 5:00AM, to provide time to pack the Jeep, then rush up into Utah's high country in time to catch alpenglow on the back side of Mount Timpanogos. To our dismay, a dog we were watching for family had an "accident," so we were delayed due to cleaning up the mess. The diversion took an extended period of time, making our arrival late at the pre-determined location. As a result we wandered away from the scene disappointed.... until I came across this spot. The sun's morning rays glowed, creating highlights in the trees all around. I setup the tripod with a low perspective, and captured this incredible meadow scene, high in the Wasatch Mountains.
