Maui

"Maui." The Island of Maui is naturally diverse, from rainforest to desert. And always fascinating is to watch the quickly changing weather as it sweeps through across the topography. At sunset on this particular evening, I wanted to capture the the varying conditions in the scene below. I soaked in the scene for a moment, then began a series of panoramas. This was my preferred moment, as the sunlight peaked brightly between cloud layers. Visible in the scene are Maui (foreground), Lanai (background, left), and Molokai (distant background).
