Respite

"Respite." It had been a long day of travel through Alberta with heavy rain showers in all quadrants. Finally, at day's end, there was respite, as the storms dissipated enough to allow a glimmer of light shine through the thick cloud layer. I saw this highlight up on the ridge and sprinted down to the lake shore to capture a scene before the clouds again enveloped the scene.
