Reflective Temple

I walked around Temple Square all afternoon and evening, awaiting a brilliant sunset with the correct amount of wind (or rather the lack of it), but alas the little glimmer of color in the low horizon is all that came out to play. Regardless, the temple lights and a gentle breeze provided a magnificent opportunity!

The Salt Lake City Temple was completed in the year 1893 and is the most prominent temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (also known as the Mormons), located on one square block of property. The entire Salt Lake Valley is addressed based on a grid system, with Temple Square being the focal point. The Salt Lake Valley is home to more than 1,000,000 residents.
