Redwood Sun

I arrived with a friend at Medford, Oregon about 11:00PM. We drove down towards the Redwood Highway towards Crescent City, California, and with a full moon we were able to catch some tremendous light along the coastline. Then realizing sunrise was upon us, we rushed down the highway to catch sun-up over the Redwoods. We stopped at an overlook just in time, as the sun began to crest over the distant mountains. Smoke-filled air helped bring about the red sun, and the rolling fog brought about an amber glow all around! Such an incredible experience!
