Rain

I visited Acadia during fall with the sole purpose of capturing the autumn color. To my good fortune nature did not disappoint. Notwithstanding the success of such an incredible artistic display, rain tormented the adventure each day, making photography a difficult prospect. I persisted, and in between each shot I spent time cleaning the lens. Thankfully at times my assistant helped me by hanging an umbrella overhead. It was in this setting I captured this shot of a beautiful lake under heavy rain.
