Velvet

My family and I visited the Brigham City Temple for sunset. Each of us had a camera in hand... a Nikon D800, Canon 40D, Nikon D5100, and an iPhone 5. We split into different directions, wandering around the building, scouting different perspectives. And I had a specific mission in mind... to capture an inspiring image for my daughter. My eyes quickly fell upon this scene -- I loved how it appeared like a velvet pillow supporting the temple itself. I knew she would love it! I invited her over to capture the scene herself. This is my composition.
