My family was fortunate to spend some time in The Keys of southern Florida. I was surprised to learn firsthand that The Keys are a coral archipelago -- I had expected miles and miles of endless sand beaches -- definitely not the case. And in fact the homes and jungle are so thick that few clear perspectives of the ocean are found. I searched for days trying to find a vantage point from which to capture the sunset from a westward-facing beachfront. Gratefully I stumbled across this view just moments before sun down.
