Focused
I recently visited a new part of Alaska with my son, at least new for me. We caught the ferry and headed off into the wilderness without much of a plan. As we arrived at the destination, we drove the Jeep to a nearby viewpoint to overlook the town. Our goal was to capture a landscape scene; however it was there we saw a convocation of eagles. Our plan immediately changed to capturing wildlife with the longer lenses. This particular eagle was watching the shoreline intently, waiting for the opportune moment to swoop in and nab a fish from the nearby fishermen. I snapped the scene as the eagle was approaching to land, just below the shoreline. I admired the intensity in the eyes, so focused on its mission. Watching eagles is an amazing experience!
