Stormy Desert

I met up with a friend from Germany to capture various scenes in Arches National Park. A late-night rainstorm squandered any hopes for sunrise light, but we remained in the area just in case the storm suspended itself in any way. To our good fortune the sun peaked underneath the overcast layer, casting a glow on all the red rock cliffs in every direction. I scrambled to this scene, to capture the golden light all around.
