I visited this area as a young boy, long ago. I come back frequently to the area, and somehow kept forgetting to stop here. Thanks to a recent post by fellow photographer, it reminded me of this hidden treasure in the Wasatch Mountains. So I jumped in the Jeep with my son and several other photographers. We hiked up to the spot, and due to our late departure, we maintained a quick pace up the hill. The hike was grueling. Upon reaching the lake, I knew I only had a couple minutes to setup and capture what I wanted. Within moments the sun was gone. It was then, with more even light, a gentle breeze began, causing yellow light to reflect in all directions. Click.
