If Only

"If Only." The sky conditions most of the day were cloudy and dreary, with little opportunity for the sun to shine. But I knew overcast skies lead to the possibility of colorful sunsets, if only the sun could sneak its way underneath the cloud layer. I approached the beach with great hope, and discovered a sliver of sun peaking its way out. I kicked off my sandals, waded into the wet sand while waves crashed on ankles, and setup my tripod. Within just a few minutes an amazing scene unfolded.
